Intermediate Agility Class

Must have completed Beginning Agility class or have existing experience

The Intermediate Agility class is designed to improver on what you have learned. This course will teach you improved directional control, Increases working distance with you dogs  How to properly sequence you moves to get the optimum performance out of  a trial course.  Each handler and dog will learn at a different pace and the class has been setup to accommodate this. The intermediate agility class will take 6 to 12 months*. Classes are 60 Minutes for Group and 30 Minutes for Private Classes.

At mountain home agility we offer many types of classes from puppy classes to advanced agility classes. Each class is tailored to you and your dogs growth. As you move up from one level to the next you will be refining the basic skills you have learned. The bond between you and your dog will be improved and you will see your dogs confidence grow. All of our training is based on a positive reinforcement system. We do not scold or use harsh treatment to teach your dogs. The experience you have with us will be a pleasant one for both you and you beloved dog.

Starter Puppy Agility

3  to 6 Months of age.

Puppy learn basic obedience, socialization and beginning work on puppy size obstacles like Mini tunnels, mini dog walk, and mini teeter. Class are 20 to 30 Minutes long depending on the puppies endurance.

 Puppy Agility Class

6  to 12 Months of age.

Puppy beginning work on some standard size obstacles like tunnels, chutes,  jumps with no bars. we also use lower dogs walks and smaller angled teeters with focus on contact zones, proper centering to obstacles, start and stop zones. Class are 20 to 30 Minutes long depending on the puppies endurance.

Beginning Agility Class

Dogs 12 months of age and older.

The beginning Agility class is designed to introduce you into the world of Agility. This course will teach you the basics of how to handle you dogs and run a course. How to identify the equipment used and the rules that you need to follow when at trial.  Each handler and dog will learn at a different pace and the class has been setup to accommodate this. The beginning agility class will take 3 to 6 months*. Classes are 60 Minutes for Group and 30 Minutes for Private Classes.

Advanced Agility Class

Must have completed Intermediate Agility class or have existing experience at that level

The Advanced Agility class is designed to cover more complicated techniques and refine what you have learned.. This course will teach you in perfecting directional control, Ins, out, Call offs, Complex discriminations, switches, Group sequences, greater distance control. Learn different games of Agility.  Each handler and dog will learn at a different pace and the class has been setup to accommodate this. The advanced agility class will take 6 months Plus*. Classes are 60 Minutes for Group and 30 Minutes for Private Classes.
